We welcome the news that there is now a Sherlock Holmes society in Scotland (Glasgow).

Sleuth inspired one-man show.
Fans of Sherlock Holmes will be in for a treat on September 25th for two reasons.
     The first being when Paul Lehmann brings to life two Holmes stories The Engineer's Thumb and The Blue Carbuncle combining physical theatre with story telling. The venue will be The Ludlow Assembly Rooms, Ludlow, Shropshire, 7.00 pm Saturday 25th September. Tickets £10 ( concessions £8 ) Tel: 01584 878 141.
       The second being The Game's Afoot!  An evening entertainment about Sherlock Holmes and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle presented by The Deerstalkers of Welshpool.  The venue will be the School Room at the back of Welshpool Methodist Church, High Street, Welshpool.  Admission is free but refreshments will charged for.

If you would like to know more about the new BBC Sherlock Holmes series then here's your chance.   The executive producer and screenwriter Steven Moffat and producer of the Sherlock series Sue Vertue  will discuss the chanenges of adapting an international fictional character to the fast paced and all-action thrilling drama for television.  The event will take place on Septembet 9th during the Kaleidoscopic Festival at Glynwdr University in Wrexham.

SHERLOCK HOLMES ( in the guise of Robert Downey Jr. ) is now resident at Madame Tussauds.  It should be good as it has cost £150,000 to produce!!

New Sherlock Holmes series on BBC TV -  due to the interest stimulated by the new Sherlock Holmes film featuring Guy Ritchie, the BBC will soon be broadcasting a new series of Holmes films showing Holmes and Watson as twenty-first century charachters.
